Triple the Fun!

This card idea came from an idea seen on Pinterest.  We all have scraps and punches and are always looking for ways to use them.  

We did not add a sentiment to the front but that could be easily added.  The card base is white with a white embossed layer added.  The embossing folder used is the SU! Fancy Fan folder.  The color squares are Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit.  The Bitty Butterfly punch was used in the center of the scalloped square punch.  Two pieces of black hemp was used behind the squares.

Butterflies were used on this card but any punch would be cute - flowers, hearts, balloons - you get the idea!  Have fun with it.

Long Stemmed Roses

Below is a card made with our new long stemmed flowers clear stamp set called Filler Up.  These fit perfect in the mason jar.

This quick and simple card is made with a white card stock base, the images are stamped in black and the roses and "water" are colored in the chalk.  How long has it been since you dug out the chalk.  We definitely forget this easy coloring technique sometimes.  Punch the border with a decorative border punch, add ribbon, add a sentiment and you have a card ready to go.

Blowing Wishes......

Love, love, love pinwheels.  Below is another card share from my May card class.

The card is made with retired SU! patterned paper and retired card stock.  The vanilla card stock is embossed with the Cloudy Day embossing folder from Stampin' Up!  The pinwheel is a die and the sentiment is from the Wishes Your Way stamp set.  Everything was sponged and the pinwheel is attached to a piece of a wooden skewer.

Who doesn't love a fun pinwheel.....cute for all ages.  Two Paper Divas - Melissa and Gayla

Thinking of You

What a fun, summer/spring card; perfect for any occasion.  Clean and bright!

The card is made with white card stock and a piece of blue patterned paper.  The flower, stem and leaves are made from a die.  The sentiment is from Divas' Everyday Sentiments.  A yellow threaded button is added to the center of the flower.

Another Window Card!

Window cards are so much fun and very popular right now.  Carryn created this card using one of Divas' sentiments from the Everyday Sentiments collection.

The card is made with white and black card stock.  I yellow and white flowered patterned paper is used on the top half of the card.  Trees and blue skies show through the window die cut.  The sentiment is punched out with a Stampin' Up! punch.

Creped Filter Flowers

 This card, from the May card class, used the Creped Filter Paper in the recently expired supplement.  Love the feel of this paper and loved that it has the look of tissue paper but definitely more durable,

The flowers were punched with the 7/8" scallop circle punch also in the same supplement.  You can't tell from the photo, but the flowers are four layers, scrunched slightly and then a colored brad was added to the center.  

Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue both retired so we were using the colors while available.  This would make a very cute baby card as well....several used a "baby" sentiment on their cards.

You should all be getting familiar with Carryn's name.  She is one of our design team members but she also runs the Pagosa Springs, Colorado store for Melissa.  She designed the card below. 

 

The card base is white card stock with a flowered patterned paper layer that has been punched with a scalloped border punch.  The small vase of flowers is one Divas' cake pedestal from Happy Birthday cupcake set.  The banner and sentiment is from the Seed Packet Banners & Sentiments set.  Pink seam binding ribbon was tied into a multiple looped bow to complete this card.

Hello, Hello!

Below is another card share from my April card class.  The honeycomb embossing folder - or hexagon shaped folder - is very popular right now.  Love the look and have fun playing with it the last few weeks.

 

The card is made with Naturals Ivory card stock and the patterned paper is called Tea for Two....both from Stampin' Up!  The sentiment is from an old SU! set called Happy Greetings.  The sentiment was cut from one of the die cuts available in the Apothecary Accents Framelits set.  Natural hemp was wrapped around the card a couple of times for added embellishment.

A Sweet and Simple Birthday!

This card is from one of the classes at Remember This and uses are ever popular Everyday Sentiments.

The card is vanilla layered on vanilla with a piece of polka dot patterned paper that was punched with a scalloped border punch.

The flower is a Memory Box die, Prim Poppy, and has been cut out in vanilla as well.  The vanilla "Happy Birthday" sentiment was punched with the SU! punch, Decorative Label.  Everything has been sponged and a vanilla button with twine was added.

A Springtime Birthday!

The card below was designed by one of Divas' design team, Carryn.  She made this into a birthday card but what a perfect combo for any occasion.

The grass and butterfly are made with a die cut and a punch.  The flowers are from the Mason Jar Accessories #1 set; the watering can is from the Seed Packet accessories set and of course, the Happy Birthday sentiment is from Everyday Sentiments.

Red gingham ribbon, twine, glitter and Crystal Lacquer add lots of fun embellishment to the card.
