A few days ago we shared another sample of this quick and easy tutorial on MeGa Stampin Studio. This is another sample I created using the Holiday Lounge tutorial, but this time it's for my granddaughter's birthday. Her birthday theme was "cupcakes"... imagine that!! You know how Gayla and I LOVE cupcakes (you have to check out our felted wool cupcakes in our Divas Cupcake Store). Anyway, the theme was cupcakes and the colors were pink and brown. Yep, another two favorites of ours.
For the cover, I used retired SU! DSP, Sweet Pea, Pink Piourette and Chocolate Chip card stock for the circles. The focal point is a sweet little cupcake from Hero Arts.
Below is a great view showing all the "tabbed" pages and how each page has a pocket for additional pictures.
Pages 1 & 2 show where I've used a strip of this cute cupcake paper I had on hand and another one of the Hero Arts cupcakes for the embellishment. There are several cupcake images that are used throughout the album.
Pages 3 & 4- The dotted swiss Chocolate Chip DSP is also retired SU! paper.
And, here are the last two pages. We have used our library pocket to hold the piece of journaling paper.
One final picture showing again how the tabbed pages pull out to hold lots more of those wonderful pictures. I sure hope Brooklyn's mom likes it! Happy Birthday, sweetheart!
