Today's Freebie Friday is another type of "easel" card. We showed you a regular easel card here. Today's is a twisted easel card.
Gather your supplies: card stock, patterned paper, ribbon, punches, stamps, ink, brads
Cut a piece of Not Quite Navy card stock 4-1/4" x 9-3/4". Score at 4-1/4".
If you are going to add patterned paper, do so now to the front before you do the next score.
You can use a scoring tool or the easiest is to fold the front at a diagonal.
We added a stamped piece to the front. We used the SU! set, Button Buddies. Stamped in Not Quite Navy, Riding Hood Red, and Old Olive. We added More Mustard brads to the flower centers. Be sure to only glue this layer to the bottom section of the diagonal front.
Below you will see why you need to only glue the bottom portion.
For the inside, we added more patterned paper, ribbon and our sentiment is popped up so that you have something to "prop" the front against. You could use other things as well - buttons, brads, etc.
Below you can see how the sentiment layer keeps the "twisted" front up and open.

Wow! This is so cute and such a creative 'twist' on this design. Love it!
