Today, we are not only sharing a great paper craft project but a great gift idea. Ever thought about making your own vanilla? This vanilla is so much BETTER and definitely MORE cost effective!
To make this cute apron gift tag / recipe holder / special gift, first gather your supplies: Patterned paper, card stock, Baker's Twine, punch, eyelet, bling
Next, trace around your pattern (below), cut out and score on the three dashed lines using a bone folder and ruler.
Fold in the two smaller outside "tabs", fold up the "pocket" piece and adhere the two "tabs" to the apron base.
Make your pocket as deep as you would like by adjusting the bottom folded piece. Be sure to do that before adhering to the apron base.
Create your recipe tag. Print recipe, cut in to a tag shape, sponge, and embellishments...patterned paper, punched snowflake with added bling and a paper circle reinforcement with Baker's Twine added.
Create a coordinating embellishment for the front of the apron.
Punch two holes in the top of the apron creating the "neck" tie.
This apron is now ready to hang around a homemade bottle of vanilla. What a great gift for a cook or even a great hostess gift.
