I just love My Favorite Things "Pure Innocence" little girls. This one ( A Box of Love) is one of my favorites and with Valentine's Day just around the corner I couldn't resist. The papers are My Mind's Eye Lost and Found. The base of the card and scallop oval are done in white.
Her dress and shoes are paper pieced and the rest of her was colored using these Copics.
I was really bummed about the "oops" with her hair and I couldn't fix it :( but she's still cute and I wasn't about to do it over. LOL I know, I know, this has probably never happend to you but if it did and you had cut out those little dress pieces and teeny tiny shoes you wouldn't want to do it again either. Now, if Gayla had been around to cut them out for me like she sometimes does (I don't like to cut, I have big hands and it's hard for me to cut small things, but Gayla, well you know, you've seen what she does! :) I might have considered it.
Here I used one of the hearts from our new Double the Love digital images. It was sized and printed on the coordinating patterned papers and then cut and layered together. I added some of our hand-dyed seam binding, a button and a bow of twine to finish my card.
