Since we are going to be taking down our MeGaStampinStudio site, we will be visiting and sharing some of our old favorites. Most of those things will be done on Facebook but this first one we are doing here so that you have time to subscribe to our Facebook page if you haven't done so yet.
Over five years ago, Melissa created a cute banner birthday card for Gayla. By now, most of you who have been following us know that Gayla loves pink, brown, polka dots, etc. The link for that special banner card is dated April 6, 2009 is you want to visit the archives but they will only be up for a couple more months.
And, the next day, Melissa provided instructions for creating this banner card as we had lots of requests for it. Of course, she didn't still have the birthday card banner so she used her original "snowman" banner card to give the measurement and directions.
Here are the directions which were given on April 7, 2009.
Cut one piece of 12 x 12 card stock into 3 pieces. Each piece is 4" x12". Score each piece at 3", 6" and 9" and fold accordion style. Attach each end to another end piece using sticky strip. To add the ribbon (a 16" piece) I put a strip of stick strip across the front panel leaving enough on each end to tie the bow. The piece on the left is longer so that it can wrap around the banner.
We hope you have enjoyed the blast from the past. It has been fun looking back on all of our old projects and posts! Two Paper Divas - Melissa and Gayla
